Each book numbered with Arabic numerals contains an original lithograph by Alighiero Boetti, signed and numbered by the artist.

BOETTI A4 by Annemarie Sauzeau is part of the Emblemata Collection by Edizioni Essegi, Ravenna. 

The book contains an essay by Annemarie Sauzeau and an interview the author did with Hans Ulrich Obrist.

The color out-text pictures reproduce 10 Extra Strong by Alighiero Boetti.
The b/w images within the texts reproduce works by Alighiero Boetti or moments in his life. 

The paper types used are Fedrigoni Tatami, ivory and white, gr. 150; Revive white offset gr. 140. 

The translations are by Elisabetta Zoni and Peter Benjamin. 

The book was printed at Grafiche Morandi, Fusignano (Ravenna). 

The binding, in part handmade, was produced at Legatoria Universo, Ravenna. 

The edition of “BOETTI A4″ has a run of 140 copies, all signed by the authors: 

– 100 copies numbered 1 to 100

– 26 copies numbered A to Z – 14 copies I to XIV 

The 100 copies with Arabic numerals each contain a lithograph by Alighiero Boetti. 

The other 40 copies each contain a color photocopy of the lithograph.

The book was printed in March 2012.

Note on the lithograph  In 1992 Alighiero Boetti created the lithograph included in this book. The size A4 color lithograph printed on cardboard was made upon request by Edizioni Essegi.
The edition had a total run of 130 copies all signed by the Artist:
– 100 copies with Arabic numerals 1/100 to 100/100 for the Publisher
– XXX copies with Roman numerals, I/XXX to XXX/XXX reserved for the Author.
Now the 100 lithographs for Essegi are again available to the art world thanks to “BOETTI A4″.
Each book numbered 1 to 100 contains a lithograph bearing the same Arabic numeral.
